Ironing Services

U Have It Maid Laundry & Cleaning Service does not want to be a temporary just laundry and or cleaning solution for you but rather a cleaning essential for everyday life. Our priority is making sure we can accomodate your busy lifestyle. We offer schedules for your convenience on a weekly, biweekly, monthly and one-time occasions. We also prefer to send the same cleaner, as she learned your preference and routine.
Weekly- Pick a day of the week that works best for you and we will fit you in with your cleaner every week
Biweekly- Pick a starting date Monday-Friday and we will schedule your home every two/three weeks with the same cleaner on the same day.
Monthly - We will schedule your home on a day of the month (ex. the first Monday of each month). We will always try to accomodate your busy schedule.
One Time - Our one time customers are placed on the schedule that best accomodates them and also very dependent on our scheduling availability. The sooner you know what day you need, the better to schedule your home.
Reminder
Once we place you on the schedule on an established day and frequency, we will continue on the designated scheduled date and time. We will send a courtesy reminder email the day before your cleaning to remind you of your scheduled date. If you are not home and the access instructions to the home are not available, we will call and email you. We will accomodate in waiting 15 minutes before we consider it a lockout.

Contract
U Have It Maid Laundry & Cleaning Services does not require a contract to be signed. We appreciate that our customers let us know 48 Hours in advance when they need to change the scheduled service. This time frame allows for schedule organization for our cleaners. Last minute cancellations affect our staff in a negative way, so please advise if you need to reschedule or cancel services. Our one-time customers will also be subject to the cancellation fee if they decide to cancel before the cleaning services is conducted. Last minute rescheduling will also be subject to the reschedule fee if no notice is given at least 48 hours in advance

Terms and Conditions of Service

U Have It Maid Laundry & Residential Cleaning Service ("U Have It Maid") is pleased to provide laundry service to you ("you" or the "customer"), subject to your compliance with and acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth below. Please read the following provisions carefully. Your use of the U Have It Maid service indicates your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein. If you do not so agree, you should inform us and cease using the service immediately. This agreement is strictly between U Have It Maid and its customers and does not in any way constitute or imply any relationship with any other parties.

 

Delivery Schedule:

Laundry pickup must be scheduled in advance by the customer. Pickup and delivery will take place each week on Monday through Saturday, except on certain holidays determined by U Have It Maid in its sole discretion. Each customer is allowed one (1) pickup per week. U Have It Maid reserves the right to determine the pickup and delivery times in its sole discretion and reserves the right to reschedule pickup and delivery times upon prior notice to the customer. Delivery will take place at least 24 hours after the time of pickup unless you've requested a 48 hour turn around.
 
Pick Up and Delivery, Procedure and Terms:
U Have It Maid will provide the customer with laundry bags and identification cards. U Have It Maid reserves the right not to pick up items that are not in these bags, but may decide to pick up such items in its sole discretion. The customer agrees not to include any of the following that are in or attached to any of the items to be cleaned or inside any of the customer's laundry bags: (i) non-washable items, (ii) items that are labeled for hand washing and/or dry-cleaning only, or (iii) any other items not meant for laundering or dry-cleaning. The customer is responsible for any and all damage caused by any items left in the customer's clothing or laundry bag that cause damage to the clothing of any customer, the cleaning machines, or any other property of U Have It Maid or its customers. U Have It Maid is not responsible for, and shall not pay for, any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended by the customer for pickup or delivery.
 
Missed/Unattended Delivery or Pick Up:
If the customer misses a scheduled pickup during a given week, the customer will forfeit the service for that week and will not be reimbursed. In order to accommodate the customer for the missed week of service, U Have It Maid will allow the customer to wash twice as many pounds of laundry the next week as they are normally allowed, free of additional charges. For example, if a customer who paid for four (4) loads per week misses a week, they may have eight (8) loads of laundry cleaned the next week.
Payment:
The customer must pay the agreed-upon charges prior to service if paying by credit or debit. If paying by cash payment is required at pick up. Services that have been paid for but go unused carry over from week-to-week, but do not carry over from month to month or service term to service term. U Have It Maid will not provide a refund for any under-utilization of services. Except as described in the next two paragraphs, all sales are final and all payments are non-refundable. In the event that the customer's laundry is more loads than what he/she paid for, a fee of $6.00 will be charged for each additional load. In the event U Have It Maid picks up the customer's laundry more than once per week, the customer will be charged $10 for each additional pickup. The customer hereby grants U Have It Maid the right to withhold the customer's clothing until payment is made for the excess laundry or pickup which you are allowed to pay at next pick up.
 
Refunds:
A customer who has signed up for a pre paid plans will have the right to cancel his or her contract within fourteen (7) days of signing up for U Have It Maid service and receive a full refund. Except as provided in the next paragraph, after such fourteen-day period, U Have It Maid shall have no obligation to refund any amounts paid by the customer, but it may choose to do so in its sole and absolute discretion. If U Have It Maid agrees to pay a refund after such seven-day period, U Have It Maid will refund the amount paid by the customer less (i) a ten percent (10%) processing fee, and (ii) $20 for each week since the customer signed up for the service, regardless of whether the service has been used.
Inventory Sheets:
Inventory sheets for each pickup are available by request. Inventory sheets are to be used for the sole purpose of keeping track of items. U Have It Maid, in its sole discretion, may chose not to fulfill requests put on inventory sheets. All information provided on the inventory sheets by the customer shall be accurate in every way. U Have It Maid is not responsible for any items not listed on the inventory sheets. The customer agrees to complete an inventory sheet for all items inside the laundry bag provided by U Have It Maid. If any items are left without an inventory sheet, U Have It Maid reserves the right to complete one based on the items inside the bag without notice to the customer. If there is a discrepancy between what is listed on any inventory sheet and the actual items left in the bag, U Have It Maid reserves the right change the inventory sheet and, based on a careful examination, make the final determination about the actual contents of the bag without notice to the customer. The customer hereby consents to any such changes. U Have It Maid does not consent to the accuracy of any inventory sheet completed by the customer.
Garment Care:
U Have It Maid will use reasonable efforts to maintain a high quality cleaning service. U Have It Maid accepts no liability for damage due to normal cleaning of items without care instructions, and accepts no liability for items treated in accordance with the care labels or other instructions provided. U Have It Maid accepts no liability for "special care" items that include special attention to be cleaned or that do not have care instructions. U Have It Maid is not responsible for clothing bleeding, shrinking, or otherwise changing as a result of normal washing procedures. Precautions will be taken to alleviate these problems if possible. U Have It Maid reserves the right to refuse to clean any garment. U Have It Maid does not guarantee the removal of all stains. U Have It Maid will have its cleaning service re-clean items (at no additional cost) that, in its sole discretion, were not properly cleaned and have not been worn since they were cleaned. U Have It Maid is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or laundry bags such as money, jewelry, or any other item. The customer agrees not to leave such items in its clothing or in its laundry bags.
Loss or Damage:
Missing or damaged items must be reported to U Have It Maid within 24 hours of delivery of your laundry bag. Failure to report the missing or damaged item within 24 hours shall remove any liability of U Have It Maid for the missing or damaged item. In the event that any item is lost or damaged by U Have It Maid, U Have It Maid will issue the customer a refund or credit for the value of that item as stated in this paragraph. If a customer is able to provide proof of purchase and purchase amount of the lost or damaged item, U Have It Maid will provide a full refund, not withstanding a maximum reimbursement for each individual item of $100, and the maximum total reimbursement per customer of $200. If a customer is unable to provide proof of purchase, U Have It Maid will issue the customer a refund or credit for the value of that item as specified in the National Fair Claims Guide from the International Fabricare Institute (“IFI”). This guide takes into account the average life of the garment, depreciation for the age of the item, and the current replacement cost. If the customer is unable to document the age of a garment, U Have It Maid reserves the right to limit the maximum age of any garment to one year. If no current replacement cost is available U Have It Maid reserves the right to use the replacement cost of a comparable item currently available. U Have It Maid and its employees are not liable for any preexisting damage to a garments or other item and reserves the right to return any item without cleaning it if any preexisting damage is found or if we have a concern about the colorfastness or the age or weakness of the fabric.
Confidentiality and Disclaimer:
U Have It Maid takes privacy and personal information seriously. U Have It Maid uses the information collected to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, to process payment transactions and facilitate billing, and to otherwise deliver services. We also may send merchant service announcements, newsletters, and periodic notices about specials and new products. U Have It Maid protects your personal information from disclosure except as used as stated herein, or 1) where you consent to share the information; 2) where appropriate to comply with the law; and 3) where it is necessary to enforce or apply the Terms of Use or the rights, property, or safety of U Have It Maid, or others. U Have It Maid liability shall be limited to general money damages in a maximum amount not to exceed the charges for the term of service paid by the customer during the term in which the damages are alleged to have occurred. This liability shall be the extent of U Have It Maid liability regardless of the form in which any legal or equitable action may be brought and the foregoing shall constitute the customer’s exclusive remedy.U Have It Maid disclaims all warranties, express or implied, with respect to the services rendered to the customer. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL U HAVE IT MAID BE LIABLE TO CLIENT OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), ARISING FROM THIS AGREEMENT, SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF REVENUE OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS OR LOST BUSINESS, COSTS OF DELAY, PERSONAL OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR LIABILITIES TO THIRD PARTIES ARISING FROM ANY SOURCE.

Laundry FAQ's
1. What areas do you currently service?
We’re always adding new locations, so the best way to stay up to date is visit the “About Us” tab on the top of this page and select “Locations”!
2. Is there a charge for the laundry bag?
There is a $6 charge for your initial nylon laundry bag. Unless coming in under our "free bag" promotion. Replacement bags are $3.
3. When are my clothes returned?
Your clean and folded/hung laundry will be returned to you within 48 hours of pick-up. Please note, that if an item needs stain treated this may cause the You Have it Made Laundry Associate to hold a particular item longer than the 48 hour period. Same day service is available.
4. What happens if I leave personal items in my pockets?
We ask that you ensure all items have been removed from your pockets prior to pick-up. In the event that we do find items in your pockets, we will place them in an envelope/zip-lock bag and return it with your bag.
5. What should I put my clothing in for the initial pick-up?
We will bring you our bag(s) to fill at the time of pick-up. If you will not be present, you can leave them in a 13 gallon trash bag, or comparable bag.
6. What if I miss my pick-up/drop-off time?
If you miss your pick-up day, and do not notify the provider prior to their arrival you will be charged a $20 missed-up pick up fee. This fee is to compensate your provider for their time and fuel expenses. You can avoid a missed pick up fee by canceling your pick up with your provider. Please note that you if you’ve pre-paid for service, you will not be refunded for missed pick-ups.
7. When do I pay for your services?
Services are paid for before we process your clothes. Payments are accepted by cash, online or via check.
8. What if I am missing an item of clothing from my returned bag?
Although not required, you can complete an inventory sheet prior to pick-up that details all items found within your bag. You will keep the original sheet and we will keep a copy. If an item should come up missing that was listed on the inventory sheet, an it is reported within 24 hours from drop off; we will reimburse you an amount equal to your proof of purchase amount, limited to a maximum of $100.00USD and a maximum total of $200.00USD per customer.
9. Can I give someone else my bag to drop off?
If you will not be present during your scheduled pick-up day, we will accept your bag from someone else. To maintain the security of your items, we will not drop-off to anyone other than yourself, unless you specifically contact us and instruct us otherwise.
10. Are my clothes washed with other people’s clothes?
Absolutely not! Each bag is processed by itself. We will never clean your clothes with another customer’s clothing.
11. What do I do if I have a delicate garment that needs cleaned?
If you have a delicate item that needs to be washed seperate from your other items, please place it in a bag inside of your bag of dirty clothes. There is an additional fee for each delicate item you have.

How We Iron

We always follow instructions given by customer. If there are no instructions then this is the standard way:

1. We try to never leave double lines, track marks on the sleeve and we take extra care with the collar.

  1. 2. We NEVER iron any motifs / drawings / labels which are commonly seen on the T-shirts, with the hot iron. We iron it either on the back or inside out or iron around it .
  2. 3. We hang all T-shirts with collars but Fold all T-shirts with no collar unless otherwise instructed by customer.

4. We will hang all Pants.

  1. 5. We will put No creases in Jeans, Casual Pants or Cargo Pants.
  2. 6. We will put Creases in all Formal or business Pants and formal Shorts, we will try make sure there is only ONE middle crease line.
  3. 7. When Folding we always try to put the big things down the bottom with the small things on top.
  4. 8. We will hang Kid's dresses and Fold all the rest of small kid's clothes.
  5. 9. We never pick up a new basket until they put away the last one fully to reduce risk of Mix ups.
  6. 10. If any item has any pre-existing stain or iron mark, we will record it and we will IRON IT.
  7. 11. If any item gets a mark on it from the iron or any thing else we will clean.

How Does It Work?

It is very simple. You give us your details and we'll take care of the rest. Please remember that every thing that we do is 100% guaranteed, so you can relax and enjoy the extra free time that you will have.

We will assign you a time and day of pick up and delivery . This will be your regular weekly pick up time. All you have to do is leave the basket of ironing at least half an hour before we are to arrive. This will ensure that you will not be disturb you if you are still home, we will then pick up the basket, label it and take it to iron.

Ironing will be done according to your instructions , If we do not receive any instructions then we will hang most clothes except bedding, kid's clothes, hankies and non-colored T-shirts. Jeans will have no creases but Trousers will and so on.

Delivery will be at about the assigned time. If you are home at the time of delivery then we will give it to you by hand. If not we will organize to have your ironing placed at a location that is reasonable for both. In most cases our customers have a rack they take out at the same time they put the basket out, if you don’t have one, you can buy one at Target, Wal-mart, Kmart etc.

The hangers that you send will be used. Or we will supply wire hangers.
